Accessibility is important to us. There is a ground level entrance for use by those with limited mobility. 95% of the Museum is fully accessible by those in wheelchairs and the Museum has a number of wheelchairs freely available for the use of visitors. (Pre-booking is advisable, please ring 01935 842600) There are lifts giving access to most first floor exhibits. (it is with regret that until further notice, access to the Bomb Lift serving the Island Tour on Carrier is unavailable. This means additional floors are not accessible to our disabled visitors, we are sorry for any inconvenience).

The areas of restricted access are inside the fuselage of Concorde, the ‘Brush with War' art gallery and the Merlin Exhibition.

Hearing "induction loops" are installed at the Ticket Desk, Information Office and on audio information points in Halls One and Four.

The Museum has easy access toilets and baby changing facilities.

For those with visual impairment we are pleased to arrange for guides with skills in guiding / explaining to blind or partially sighted visitors. (Please book in advance by calling Visitor Services 01935 842633). Assistance dogs are of course welcome.

The Museum's Visitor Services Department are pleased to welcome those with learning difficulties and individual practical classes can be arranged along with guided tours as appropriate.
